People call projection manifestation. They swipe credit cards, pose for selfies, flash fancy cars, upgrade mobiles, wear borrowed status on their bodies, lie at work, buy illusions, and call it abundance. Here\u2019s the raw truth behind this circus.<\/p>

People talk about manifestation these days like it\u2019s a discount coupon for the universe. Say a few affirmations, shake the air, and abundance magically appears. Cute. Except most of them aren\u2019t manifesting anything \u2014 they\u2019re projecting. And this confusion has gone so far that the truth now feels offensive.<\/p>

Manifestation, stripped of slogans, is painfully simple. What you think, what you feel, and what you actually do move in the same direction. Not what you post. Not what you hint at. Not what you perform. Real alignment is quiet. It doesn\u2019t sparkle. It doesn\u2019t need witnesses.<\/p>

Projection, however, loves an audience.<\/p>

Projection is swiping a credit card you can\u2019t afford and calling it an abundance mindset. Projection is buying luxury to convince strangers your life is under control. Projection is preaching spiritual awakening while fighting Instagram trolls over eyebrow shapes and lighting.<\/p>

People don\u2019t manifest anymore. They perform.<\/p>

I observe people \u2014 and it\u2019s getting exhausting.<\/p>

A simple trip to the mall becomes a photoshoot marathon. Nobody goes out to enjoy anything. They go out to collect proof. A walk in nature? They love nature\u2026 as long as nature cooperates with the camera. They\u2019ll throw trash on the ground and still post about \u201cmother earth healing.\u201d Click, click, click \u2014 fake peace wrapped in recycled captions about gratitude.<\/p>

They don\u2019t look. They don\u2019t see. They check angles.<\/p>

I travel and even selfies aren\u2019t enough now. People hire photographers to follow them like budget paparazzi. Happiness must be documented from every possible side. Meanwhile, sunlight, trees, water, birds sharing food \u2014 all of it disappears behind screens. The real world becomes background noise.<\/p>

They don\u2019t look up anymore. Not physically. Not mentally. Their entire world now exists at phone height.<\/p>

The irony is brutal. The real world is free \u2014 yet people pay heavily to manufacture a fake version of it.<\/p>

So how do I try not to drown in all this? Nothing heroic.<\/p>

I keep my phone in my bag. If it\u2019s on the table, I don\u2019t touch it when I\u2019m with someone. Unless it\u2019s urgent, I don\u2019t pick calls. And if I do, I end them within ten seconds. That\u2019s my rule. Respect the time someone gives you. Respect your own time too.<\/p>

When I\u2019m somewhere, I do take pictures \u2014 yes. Beauty deserves to be remembered. But once the moment is captured, the phone goes back into my pocket. And then I\u2019m there. Fully. Like it used to be before phones became our personality. I look around. I listen. I notice.<\/p>

I also choose not to post everything. I\u2019ve noticed something simple: most people like mushrooms on a picture more than solid material to sit with. One-minute reels. Scroll. Next. Scroll again. If that\u2019s all someone wants, fine \u2014 but let\u2019s not pretend it\u2019s depth.<\/p>

If I want to keep it real, I write. I write what I think. Maybe I\u2019m wrong. Maybe I\u2019m still learning. Maybe I\u2019m right. But at least it\u2019s honest. Careers? That\u2019s theatre at its finest.<\/p>

People lie in interviews like they\u2019re auditioning for a film. They don\u2019t speak their experience \u2014 they perform it. Performance now equals professionalism. Projection equals \u201cstrong personal branding.\u201d HR nods seriously, pretending they don\u2019t know exactly what\u2019s happening.<\/p>

The company smiles and says, \u201cWe\u2019re the best place to work.\u201d Meanwhile, nobody knows who handles what and the culture is already on life support.<\/p>

Then comes the sacred question: what is your expected salary?<\/p>

Translation: give us a number so we can silently judge your worth.<\/p>

You answer logically. Experience. Rent. Reality. Bills. The smile drops.<\/p>

\u201cOh\u2026 we can\u2019t offer that.\u201d<\/p>

They don\u2019t say no directly. They wrap it nicely. They say things like let us circle back internally<\/em>, or we\u2019ll review and revert<\/em>, or my personal favourite, interesting expectation<\/em>. And then comes the grand finale \u2014 we\u2019ll call you<\/em>. They never do.<\/p>

Job ads proudly announce, \u201cWe offer exposure,\u201d which usually means you\u2019ll work like five people for the salary of half. They promise \u201cgrowth,\u201d and they\u2019re not lying \u2014 your workload grows. Nothing else does. And when they say, \u201cWe are like a family,\u201d they\u2019re being honest in their own way. A dysfunctional one you can\u2019t escape.<\/p>

Everyone in that room projects. The company projects empire energy. The candidate projects genius. HR projects authority. And everyone knows it\u2019s fake \u2014 but they play along because pretending pays faster than being honest.<\/p>

People call this manifestation.<\/p>

No. That\u2019s not manifestation. That\u2019s a lying competition with air-conditioning.<\/p>

Projection is loud. It needs constant proof, constant witnesses, constant polishing. Manifestation works the opposite way. It happens quietly, without announcements, without filters, without applause. Projection is about pretending \u2014 layering makeup over uncertainty and hoping nobody looks too closely. Manifestation is about becoming, slowly and often invisibly, until the structure underneath actually changes.<\/p>

What matters is that I know my truth. I know who I am. I know how much of my truth is worth being seen \u2014 and how much belongs in silence. I know how much space I give to projection, and how much real work I put into manifestation, just to stop the circus.<\/p>

One builds. One imitates. One deepens. One exhausts.<\/p>
