But how healthy is this?<\/strong>\u00a0I leave that for you to evaluate. Personally? I never liked it.<\/p>

Honesty moment:<\/strong>\u00a0I even felt a little jealous.<\/strong><\/p>

I rarely got cards, and if I did, they were usually spontaneous, not requested. But words? Oh, I got words. That raw, unfiltered affection.\u00a0\u201cI love you, Ma\u2019am!\u201d, \u201cI love everything you do\u201d, \u201cyou look beautiful today\u201d, your shirt is like my moms, so pretty \u201c\u00a0<\/em>whispered between activities, little arms wrapping around me for a hug, children simply\u00a0glued<\/em>\u00a0to me, standing still, refusing to let go. They come in the form of trust\u2014when a child reaches for your hand without hesitation. In growth\u2014when a shy kid finds their voice because of you. In those small, unprompted moments\u2014when they see you outside of school and their face lights up. And in the tiny gestures that remind you what a privilege it is to be part of their world.<\/p>

Maybe it\u2019s just instinct\u2014the way they associate care with that word. And I realize, it\u2019s not about replacing anyone. It\u2019s about the bond we build in those fleeting hours, a connection so natural that\u00a0Mama<\/em>\u00a0just slips out without a second thought.<\/p>

Then there are those moments when they eagerly share a new toy, or a random personal story\u2014often an entirely imaginary one, but who cares? When I see their big eyes, filled with joy over the smallest things, it reminds me to pause. To\u00a0see<\/em>\u00a0things the way they do. To stay in\u00a0this<\/em>\u00a0moment with them.
